Hi folks,

Just bought myself a VS Berlina and have a lot of equipment in the garage that I used to compete with back in the Car Audio Nationals.

I was reasonably successful back in 1993-95 and thought I might have another go at a nice sounding system.
No competition though (too old for that now). What is the comp scene like now?
And do they have a rookie class or something like that?

Anyway, need to buy a head unit but will be using an old set of 3 way Quart components with competition crossovers, Rockford 4ch amp and Rockford 12" sub.

One thing I know is that all though the gear has changed over the years the laws of physics have remained the same.

For the old school out there, my ride was a silver VC Commodore from Melbourne in the 0 to 100watt class.

15 events equalled 7 wins, 7 seconds and 1 third.

Cheers
Mat

welcome back to the scene
