Ok..
Most of us know (by looking at the calender) that Round 1 for MEASQ Vic kicks off on 2nd Feb, held at Phatt Audio Concepts & starting at 2pm (so, arvo/evening comp)..
As time is nearing fast, work still needs to be done..
Just curious..
Who's competing?? and dare i say, looking forward to round 1 and a new season!
I know i am for sure.. Am Show..

I haven't been to one of these events before. I'm not intending to compete, but keen to check out the installs, sounds, etc. If you're not a judge, do you get to listen to the competitors' system? I'd like to find out how much better I can get my system to be.

I'm sure if you introduce yourself, and ask around then you'll be more than welcome to listen to many of the competitor's cars.

should be all good for round 1.
couple more days of fitting off and trimming and car should be all done.
probably not the right thread for this question, but i think someone said i would be in pro class because i am using a pro audio processor? do this sound right. just trying to clarify before the event
Damo95
Jan 23 2008, 09:32 PM
that was me who mentioned that doolz.. mainly from past experiences as its not "car audio" gear..
but you might want to run that one by marc...

Can somebody please take some pics of the day?
Would also be interested in an overview of the day. Such as what gear was used to win the various classes and how many cars were entered.

For sure Ric

I compete in intermediate, and am happy to audition my system. But after you hear it, wait till the judges feedback on the competitors before you aim to sound like anyones system hahahahahahaha

How do these competitions work?
Small suggestion Marc. I know I for one don't come on here as much as I should (last post was 4 months ago) maybe you could make a quick facebook invite for peeps when comps are confirmed? Most of us are on there and at least it gets into our calendars that way. Also make it public and I guarantee it will drum up a few extra people that would never come on here otherwise.Hopefully see you all Saturday, pending cricket hangover.
Marc
Jan 31 2008, 08:06 PM
1pm official starting time.
Tim ... ahhh but then it would get too big, too political, too commercial, and not much fun anymore

Just a reminder guys ... this year is going to be more relaxed, no commercial obligations, cheaper entry fees, and more FUN all round.
If you don't think that sounds like your cup of tea, go to the pub for a bourbon instead

I don't class Bourbon as a whiskey - in taste or otherwise. Cougar is nice, but so is Dimple
