Surely you could work out how to take it out. i.e. cut the wires and and insulate the ends and possibly secure them. really its not rocket science

ive been told its only disconnect one wire and reconnect it to another, so ive just been looking for that to save time
yeh i could take it out and reinstall the old one by basically re-runing (using old wires) but i was hoping to be able just to disconnct and reconnt one wirre so i could leave the air horn there just incase i want to connect it sometime.

^x2. There's too many users on here now who "can't be bothered" doing their own sh.it and expect to hop on here and get breast-fed all the information.
Go buy a haynes manual for your car, or search on google for wiring schematics. Or don't be so lazy and spend 30 minutes followind the wires. Go to jaycar and buy an 8$ multimeter and test the wires you suspect it being.
You didn't even mention what car you have, so how do you expect us to offer any help at all?
did they say why it was a defect? i am pretty sure you don't need a mod plate for air horns. are they secured well?
