Hey guys, im currently working on my boot install and have cracked it at the current idea, so i scrapped it, snapped it into pieces and threw it away tongue.gif

Anyway i have a new plan. And this is where i need a little advise. I plan on Using the wheel well as the encloseure, glassing it and building a baffl on top. My only cncern is if there will be enough volume and how i would go with porting it.

Anyone have anyidea if there will be enough volume in the wheel well? (I dont want o fill it with sand or water if i can help it) I need 106.4L

In regards to the port, anyone have any ideas for this, will the odd shape of the enclosure make it difficult?? Anyone have any cals to help me out? The manual suggests a 4" 101mm Long

I will be running the sub inverted.

I am running a Fusion NV- Sw15

Heres the T/S

hahaha. mate should take it easy. but dont worry, im cracking it trying to figure out how im going to do my boot install too. tongue.gif

i'd use bean balls to fill up the spare wheel well. maybe look in the service manual for measurements? smile.gif
Pulse-R
put plastic in it and fill it up.

The ones I have seen using the wheel had the box come up about 3" above the wheel, in a removable square shape, so you pull out (or lift up on hinges) the sub box to get to the spare. - it's the same shape as the cover for the spare, and you make a false floor to match the same height. If you don't invert the sub, then you can stealth the amps under the false floor either side of the spare/sub box.

Thanks Pulse-r.

Im going to mount the amps on a rack at the back of the boot, non stealth style tongue.gif

After Masking it all up and some guestimations i think it may be a tad over 100L in there, Ill glass it and find out 2moz

Heres a pic of the masking job ready for glass tommorow. Going to use the whole well, and keep the good ol Spare in a can tyre inflator in the glovebox just incase smile.gif

ahhh, without the wheel - makes it much easier, and how I did mine

You can get 5 cubes easy, even with only 100mm of boot height loss.
