Hi

I have a Alpine IVA-D310E dvd player and would like to have my PDA gps maps from my Mio A701 displayed on my larger alpine screen.

Not sure if it is possible????

I know the alpine has a sat nav input.

My Mio A701 only has a usb connection type setup with the connector being like the firewall or the mini usb at one end. which normally charges while I am driving if plug it in to the mio and the cigarette lighter.

Not sure if there is a cable that will go from the alpine brain box to the pda and just change the input method on the alpine to view the maps, also will I get the audio as well????

If it is possible what do i need to do????

Cheers

I'm almost 100% positive that you won't be able to get it to work.

You need one of the following formats of video output from your Mio to be able to input into the IVAD310.

RGB- Definately the best quality picture and great for NAV.

Composite- Picture quality isn't as good, but acceptable and quite a common format.

Basically, if you can get either composite or RGB video and analogue stereo output from your Mio you can plug it in and then select the Mio as a source.

I'd put money on it though that the Mio won't be capable of doing this without a lot of stuffing around, contact the company you purchased it from or Mio for information on whether this can be done.

Good luck!

Thanks

I'll try but I think you might be right.
