but then i heard from some people that it was Vernon from VT systems...


can anyone tell me if they know anything whats happening, as i want to get my hands on some RE Gear....

Contact RE direct and they will tell you who their local agent is for OZ.

Vernon has the most access to RE Audio

there is a couple of pallets here in Brisbane with 10, 12, 15, and 18" subs. just waiting on a price so they can be sold.

Honestly, Try go through RE Audio in the states or new zealand, i know first hand how useless the so called "Australian Dealers" are.......

When I was in the USA in Jan this year, RE were still very active in looking for someone suitable to handle things for Australia.

They had spoken with some Australian distributors but that is where it had ended.

Pricing ive been given for whats in Brisbane:

RE MT subs

2x 18" dual 2ohm - $1100 ea
2x 18" dual 1ohm - $900ea (from the Austen when it was at BAS 2007)
1x 18" dual 1ohm - $1200
2x 15" dual 2ohm - $900ea
2x 12" dual 2ohm - $800ea
4x 10" dual 2ohm - $700ea

Splits:
XXX Splits 300rms 2ohm 6.5" driver 1" silk dome tweeter $500 a pair

Damn that's some pretty good prices!

I am not so sure about the sincerity of the RE people, the were continually emailing me with a view to distributing for them in Australia and I have as yet not had a single reply to any of my questions in 2 weeks.

I don't think they are the sort of company I would consider distributing for given they were spouting how customer focused they were whilst dropping the ball before it even gets off the ground to stage 1.
