The wattage should be around the 300 mark so I’m thinking with usb devices and so on round 350...

So I’ll prob need OPUS 320W Intelligent DC-DC PSU

Or

Power Stream PSTC-12500 (500W I can move down a model or 2...) only $330 Au$

I'm looking at putting in an SS Commodore or a F6 typhoon...

The sound system I want is 7.1 or 7.2
Front speakers I want splits... prob Alpine SPR-17S or Kenwood KFC-P707
The centre I want to install the same again I may even go up a model (Alpine SPR-17S or Kenwood KFC-P707) to side of the centre console?
I'm looking at a 4 ch amp1000-800W, to run the Front and centre speakers... run the centres on the reaming 2 channels.
Then a smaller (cheaper) 800-500W amp to run the rear and parcel tray speakers...
Finally a mono block and sub, haven’t decided yet.

I'd like to stay with Kenwood or alpine; at least the same brand.... and run it all form the pc if possible...

Good luck biggrin.gif

A few things that popped into my head when I read through that are:

I assume from what you have written that you will run straight from the sound card to the amps and not via a head unit. This should work fine but double check the voltage out of the card and required voltage into the amps to make sure its enough.

Also What screen are you planning on using?
I am not aware of any in-car sized screens with HDMI yet (you mentioned a HDMI 71** graphics card) or does this card have vga too? if so would it not be cheaper to just get a vga model?

Other than that looks good at first glance

and as mentioned above, good luck

Also, do you have a link to that motherboard?
