see ive got a pretty nice car alarm that was stock

-car locks itself if doors are just closed after about 5 mins and keys not in ignition etc
-i can set it off
-if unlocked from the inside it goes off (say if a window was down or broken etc)
-ands its loud cause its off a air horn (atm)
-and i just bought a thing so that when the car is locked the windows automatically go up ($50)

but im wondering, if someone breaks into my car (alarm goes off) to steal my h/u etc will insurance cover:
-the h/u
-damage to get in
-damage the the interior ripping it out etc?

btw im with NRMA
cheers
Louie
What insurance do you have? Fully comprehensive? Do they know about your stereo?

Have you spoken with NRMA and asked them these questions? Seems like they'd be the ones in the best position to answer them all wouldn't they?

We could tell you yes or no, doesn't mean they actually will or won't cover it. Speak with the insurer and you should find out for sure whether it's covered or not.
