i know i shoulda done a search but im in a hurry, im just about to go outt ill bout 10pm tonite then i wanna fix this, but get to bed aswell..

i was toying around trying to make a replacement fog light lamp holder for more powerful globes, tested a fwe times, blew a few fuses, no big fuse.

but now my central locking dosnt work... at all.. not through the remote or key, i have to manually lock everydoor then use the key to single lock my door.. i checkd the "fuse" under the bonnet (i think) and it looked fine, it was more a relay shape so yeah

but if anyone can point me in the right way so tonight i can knock it over itd be nice

cheers

a) This isn't urgent
b) Searching would have been quicker than posting YET ANOTHER thread and waiting for peoples responses
c) A thread title that is actually relevent helps with resolving problems

Check the fuses again (not just visually, use a multimeter or test-light). If you think its a relay, swap the relay with an identical one to see if this resolves the problem. If it does, follow the wires with a test light to find where the circuit is broken.

Aren't you an apprentice sparky? Shouldn't you therefore know a bit on how to troubleshoot your gear and find out where the problem is occuring. Sure they're not exactly the same, but they are based on similar principles I would imagine.

Checking it out at 10pm at night really isn't the best thing, you'll be tired, low light, both of these lead to even larger mistakes being made. If you've blown a few fuses, chances are you've missed one or two and that's where your problem is.

i agree with sir nemsis the amount of threads you made is a bit excessive it seems like everyday i come one here you've made a new one. you should make an install thread or something like that and ask all your questions in there instead of clogging up this section
