Hey guys, before i bought my stereo for my computer, I was using my Logitech clearchat pro usb headset as my speakers and microphone. This was all working well for me but i needed to upgrade to a proper stereo system. I bought a Logitech z-2300 2.1 system which im connecting via a 3.5mm stereo jack from my built in sound driver on my motherboard. Now the stereo works well, but the problem im having is this.... My headset does not get picked up anymore as speakers, just as microphone, I mean i understand why this could happpen, but when i unplug my stereo system, and reboot my computer my computer, it still doesnt pick up my headset. So my quetion is this, can I have my usb headset + my Computer stereo running simultaneously? My motheboad is a MBRD GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS3R DESKTOP BOARD and im running windows xp proffesional if that helps. Ive also got that realtek HD audio manager runnning which comes stock with my motherboard. yes... so any help wou;d be much appreciated, thanks guys

Plantronics have a audio switcher so you can conveniently switch between them.
I dont think you can use them both an exactly the same time though, not that most people would want to..

thanks for your help, i have found out i cant use them at the same time, but i can switch between them by changing my default audio device to which ever system i prefer.

This is because the usb headset literally has its own built-in soundcard.
So it won't change automatically?
When I plug in my Tascam US-122L, input and output changes to that.
When I unplug it, it reverts back to onboard audio.
This is with WinXP SP2.
Never had to change any options, just had the onboard installed first (obviously) before installing the Tascam.
I would have assumed the headset worked the same way, although i've had no experience with such devices.
