Hi All,
Just came across this site when doing a search for automotive related meters and the like, I'm also
looking to renovate the electrics in my car and add a few consumer upgrades with the help of my
two boys aged 12 and 15 they want things like dvd players in the back seats, I want to add anything
that helps us when we go camping, maybe GPS stuff etc My car is a VL Calais Turbo in need of some
body care and some mechanical repair. We also have a 1972 Ford Escort my eldest wants to get
ready for his 16th birthday, it had some fire damage and needs the electrics rebuilt and of course
he wants a full on audio system with all the fruit so he wants me to join up here as well...
Pic of my car here As you can see its on twin tyres, which I also sell, few new wheels left too,
I'm also pretty active on Calais Turbo when I dont have urgent work on.
On the commercial side, I make a crust by designing electronic products, have a BSc from Curtin Uni
and one sideline is the manufacture of fuserails for the VK to VR series of Holden Commodores, should
be a minor sideline but got overwhelmed with orders in January and now I can catch my breath am
considering widening the product for any old car renovations by adding a teaching guide for auto
electrics, currently designing auto related products for clients for overseas and interested in multiple
fuel systems for automotive. Really enjoy the high end technical discussion and problem solving, so if
you guys have a technical problem with electronics or electricals but not procedural based with a
product then if no one else can offer comment then feel free to open a thread and send me a pm,
On the personal side, I enjoy reading about and discussing obverse philosophy, socialising with like
minded people preferably wimmin and have an interest in ancient Sufi writings. I go to the gym,
enjoy red wine and variety of foods.
I'm resident in Perth, WA and go camping most holidays when I can, have an agent in Victoria
for fuserail installations and I'm looking to get my car ready for interstate travels next 12 months
where I can also test a few locally designed fuel saving devices, couple of my own designs and
others from local enthusiasts.
