i have a mate who bought the [b]DWW-700M [/b]and is having radio issues.. hence the radio refuses to play nothing comes out of the rca's but a hum. sent the first one back thinking it was faulty.. second one no luck.. the place he got it off is refusing to take second back saying they had it tested and it works...


so my question is there some kinda trick to installing these.. pretty much installed like you would a headunit

even if its the 2nd unit that your mate has got, if you return it, the company from where you bought it are obliged to test it, even if they say they tested it when they got it in as the replacement for the 1st unit,

failing telling them that, just let the know that you may have to ring the office of fair trading, to get a "2nd opinion" on what your rights are as a customer

im unaware of any special requiments when installing...

i recently installed a Xenarc 700IDT and had no issues with that other than the length of the supplied screws which i managed to work around.
