Hey guys. Just a quick one;
How does $330 for a box of Dunamat Bulk sound for value? I think it has 9 sheets in it? What would one expect to pay? Should I snaffle up a bargain?
Cheers,
Kaeser

Guess it depends on the sheet size. The Stinger Roadkill "Bulk" Pack is $100 ?

if you are looking at dynamat extreme then the RRP is $399. I have it listed for that in my dynamat book.( its also listed on mine for a bit less) so if you can find it cheaper then buy it. 9 sheets of it will do a LOT. I use half a box usually do to 2 doors and a rear shelf or half a box to to a 4 door ute.

The bulk pack is 36 SQ/ft and i dont know how you guys apply it but i reckon its bugger all because i like to cover all areas evenly and have no gaps in between. Half a bulk pack normally is enough for me to do two doors properly because i do the outer skin entirely and the inner door skin completely after i cover up the service holes.

yeah, a fully covered door in & out takes a whole '2-door' kit ( 12 sq. ft)
$300 may not be a real bargain, but if it's the dynamat 'extreme' then not a bad price at all

Would the recommendation be one box of dynamat extreme to do the lot, or several boxes (adding up to the same value) of other cheaper stuff?

mate spend the money on the dynamat extreme bulk pack it is top of the line! 330 is abit much i got mine for 300 but im in NSW dont know your shops overthere
I got the Dynamat Extreme Bulk Pack... I can't see myself doing more than my 2 doors though, so i need to go out and buy some more for my boot. I'd say around the $280-300 mark... Walk in with cash and you could probably get the guys to do a little better for you. I got mine for about $210 AUS, from the U.S.
Otherwise, that Stinger Roadkill Pack, seems good value.

I picked up my bulk pack of Dynamat Extreme for $240. I went through two bulk packs (18 x sheets) and did my entire car, MY00 WRX.
I still need to do my roof & bootlid - prob another bulk pack
Sorry to hijack the thread does any one know the street price for dynaliner and extreme liner??

I bought some Dynamat extreme for $290 for the 36 sq. ft pack.
I haven't started doing the installation but by spreading it out on the floor and checking sheet sizes upon the door, it seems that it is no where near enough to do a car.
But enough I would say to do doors (inner and outer) parcel shelf and boot lid, with some to spare, but not enough to finish any other part of the car.
I would say you would need about two + of those boxes to do a whole car

My calculations yield the same results. Based on a few measurements, I believe I'll need roughly 1 box to do two doors properly. Then I plan to do the floor, complete boot, and boot lid. We're talking some serious $$$ in sound deadening. I sure do hope its worth it!
Cheers for the replies,

The more you do the better. I did doors, floor, roof,...basically every where. Extreme or roadkill pro is definatly woth it IMO. I used both in dif areas. I wish I hadnt used std roadkill on the roof thou as it sagged in the heat one 40 deg melb day. Ill only use pro or extrteme in my car from now on. Money well spent me thinks

Think im going to go with a dynamat 2 door kit ($129) to do my front doors
Then maybe buy the stinger bulk pack later down the track to do parts of my boot.
Stinger roadkill is pretty awesome price, but im not really 100% convinced its as good as dynamat extreme
