Just wondering if there were others out there that use different software to put music onto an ipod and what they were using?

I've always used a program called Vpod (very basic) with my Ipod, but this program won't work with current gen Ipod Nano sad.gif

....sorry i cant help.......i grit my teeth every time i have to use iTunes.....stick with winamp normally otherwise

goodluck getting it sorted, im sure you're not the only person trying to find a different way about it.

maybe try in www.ocau.com , the forum section there is huge (we're talking 400-900 viewers active every hour 24 hours a day).....and surely you'll find a suitable section there to post it in whre you'll probably have more luck. (otherwise, maybe headphones.com.au)

Not so simple, I still have not come accross (a stable) one that works with the new Gen Nano's.

The reason for not wanting to use iTunes are most alternatives don't require installation, meaning you can do a transfer on any computer without installing software. The original reason I started using sharepod and the like.

Another reason is I plain and simply don't like the itunes interface smile.gif

I'll hit up www.ocau.com and see what turns out.

I ended up with the latest version of SharePod. Works a treat and no instalation is required to run it (I have it sitting on the ipod and run it runs from on any computer). Whats more it's free smile.gif

I did give FLOOLA a try also, but didn't like Vista x64 sad.gif
