Measured up the screen in the Falcon. Its 135mmX 75mm viewable. Makes it a 6" widescreen.
Butttt I can't find someone with a suitable overlay. HELP!

Hmmm damn what a YUK size... I know its been done though on the factory screen as I have read it previously.

Perhaps email digitalww and ask them for the exact measurements of the 5.6" overlay.
I haven't dissassembled one of those so I don't know if you could physically fit a 7" overlay in behind, but that would be OK if you could because when you actually calibrate the overlay, you would only be calibrating the boundaries of your 5.6".

I've asked around on mp3car.com and they said to use a 6.4" one assuming I can mount it, and it should be fine. The 5.6" one unfortunately isn't wide enough, checked out the measurments.
The 6.4" one is perfect width wise, as its something like 129 active and my screen is 130mm viewable, but it will have 10mm overhang on the top and bottom. I have to pull it out to see if I can mount it on there.
But your right, Yuck size lol.

what falcon is it is it a BF/BA?

And cut the top bit out of it, also modifie the Panel and fit in a 7" screen...
I think you might be able to squese in an 8"... but defintly a 7"...
