I have supremo 3ways 9"woofer,cdm88 3" mid dome,picollo tweet.
I also have horn loaded mt 37 tweets which im anxious to install, but they are meaty suckers.
I want to run the standard setup i have, tweets up high on the window piller,3" mid dome on the dash,9" in the doors, i aslo want to run the horn mt37 about the same height as 9" in the doors but install them around the centre of each front seat.
So each horn will be pointing up to the centre roof area but be installed directly in front of each listener.
Was just wondering what hz freq, band pass ideas some of u guys could think of.I can achieve anything as i have the beringer2496 which is awesome and it will be running the 3"dome,picollo tweet and mt37 tweets.
thoughts???

How's the car sounding?

Why do you want to add yet another layer of complexity?

You should be able to get a good stage with the 3-way setup u already have.
I see no benefit in adding another tweeter to the mix, especially if you havent already exhausted all tuning oppurtunities.

youre overcomplicating things...

If you are bothered experimenting then just do it?
Conduct a quantitative experiment in the positioning of a 2nd set of tweeters, write up a report, and report to us on your findings smile.gif

To hear the difference, you could just connect them in parallel with the piccolo's and move them around to hear the differences. If you find that they help the sound, try running them without the piccolos. This is similar to how I got rid of my ambients, to become main tweeters.

Here is a nice 4 way front end, incase your trying to figure out what size drivers they are the Midbass is a Seas W26 10", the lower midrange 200hz-1000hz (i think) is a W22 8", and that one of the ribbons plays from 1k-8k and the other ribbon goes from 8k-20k.

Seas Excel W22 200hz-2khz kicks
BG Neo8 PDR 1khz-5.5khz kicks
Lcy 108 5.5khz-20khz kicks

20hz to 63hz handled by 3 IdMax IB
