This is just a basic run through on how to install a HU in a magna, Obviously watch for screws and clips but u get the idea

Step 1: Buy Stereo and Cable Adapter
Step 2: Soldered the stereos ISO plug into the Adapter ISO
Step 3: Disconnected the batery
Step 4: Pulled the facia off centre console
Step 5: Pulled the ash tray/ Cigerrette compartment off
Step 6: Pulled the Facia off around the old HU and Aircon vents
Step 7: Removed the Chasis
Step 8: Removed the HU from the chasis
Step 9: Put the HU into the chasis
Step 10: Grounded the HU against an existing screw in the car
Step 11: Plugged the Adapter ISO into the Cars ISO
Step 12: Put the whole thing back together again

To me it seems a bit too vague to be a tutorial to be honest. Maybe expand the steps, and add a few pics if possible?

yeah man what makes this different to any other car really? pics and detailed step or why should this thread exist?

Yeh Unfortunately I remembered I was going to make a tute, after I installed the stereo into the G/Fs car,

So no photo's

Just thought it would be handy cause I know when im Installing stereos the hardest bit is finding out the first piece to take out to get to the HU

Yeh I intend to Put a Nice lil sub and amp in So ill have to rip it all out neways Just need to get some time...

Im not even in the same state at the moment and I have a car I have to get road worthy so it wont be for some time

Putt this on Pause for the time being

amp installs are easy,, slide H/U out from Cradle mounting (like i did in my pics) as this is easier then pulling it all apart again.

plug in RCAs, connect Remote to blue wire with white trace in headunit loom. drop cables down the back - plenty of room in there to store the excess cabling.

push deck back into cradle/dash

remove the 4x 14mm bolts from passenger seat and remove seat to make room for amp going under it.
