Less connections / connectors is a good thing. A factory silver-soldered joint is far better than a 5c spade connect imo.
The first thing you have to do when installing a mid is solder wire on, we've already done it for you.

And the first thing probably 99% of the car audio community is going to do is either crimp or solder a spade on the end of the fly wire. IMO the fly wires are more of a hindrince then a help. It cheapens the look of the driver IMO because it looks like rubbish wire (I'm not saying it is), and personally it just looks like cost saving I'm sure 15cm of wire is probably cheaper then some of the nice solid spade's connections or lockdown style you see on some quality drivers.
But anyway that's enough OT!!
So when will we get to hear these in a car at a comp?

But you've lost me on the audio systems hx speakers? WTF are you talking about?
There basically identical, and for a good reason!!! Same guy designed them, you can see they use the exact same parts to build up the drivers and xover's, and to tell the truth I wouldn't be surprised if these were very very similar spec wise.
p.s. I just cross checked the specs there remarkably close, close enough to just be a difference in the measuring equipment used, the only main difference is the the DD look like they've be made to handle a tad bit more power with a subsequent lowering in sensitivity about 4db down on the AudioSystem version (not a good thing) but again that could just be the measuring equipment.
