Full Version: how to add accessories to a Viper alarm system

ok i have a viper 791xv system

but what i am wondering is i can get added accessories such as tilt sensor, glass breakage sensor, but what i was wondering, is how do i hook these up?

do i have to purchase an expander unit to add onto the 791xv so it can have these accesories added on?

please help

The 791xv has additional ports for add on accesories. The digital tilt will need to be wired in but be careful to use the correct wires as it uses duplex.

i was thinking of just going the tilt sensor and a pain generator.
im guessing you will have to wire in the pain generator too?

Yes i gather by pain generator you mean an internal piezo.

Yes its do able Tomee but remmember if you ever need to over ride the system you must endure it as well.

are you able to explain duplex for me?
do you wire teh tilt into the shock sensor wires?
