Ritonja
how new is the E series?
RAD82
Not sure what your referring to, the sub itself, or the E series of subs in general?
Ritonja
sub itself sorry
RAD82
I don't know its full history, sorry. Previous owner had 400~ hours on his amp (his amp counts hours of operation), i've done around an hour every working day for 5 months. Spider is still stiff to press against, and the voice coil does not scratch or click.

Just wondering, can you put these things in sealed boxes if you weren't interested in SPL? If so, approximately what size enclosure are we looking at?
RAD82
It does'nt work like that, some subs can work well in ported and sealed enclosures, regardless if you want a one note SPL box or daily tunes. I could lie to try make a sale but i wont, these are ported all the way. 2.2cuft still is'nt that bad compared to some boxes for 12's that i've used (2.5 - 3.3cuft).

Negotiable on price for serious buyers.

Yeah, thought I'd ask you rather than trying to find the parameters of the sub tongue.gif

BTW, if anybody was curious as to what the speaker parameters were, here they are, off the atomic website.

For the meantime, i'll chase the extra $10, seen them go for a lot more.

are these ones that Shieldsy was selling eons ago?

without the mounting ring can they still be used completly safe and nothing go wrong with them? How much is the mounting rings worth?

Wondering how much would postage be to NSW 2750.

also what is the exact model numbers on them...

Could be, i brought them from Billy, he might have brought them from shieldsy, but im not sure. New ones, you'd have to pop off an email to Cartunez for a quote, cant imagine them being more than pocket change.

I've had no problems that i'm aware of without the mounting ring, although i use a stripe of closed cell foam between the enclosure and basket on all my subs.

Postage from Wollongong to Melb when i brought them was about $55 for the pair, i'll get a better estimate from austpost later tonight.

The exact model number is an APSPL10, the serial's i dont know but can find out if you need them.

No-one wants some competitive subs for Street A without forking out thousands?
Billy aka Shakes
these were shieldsy subs once.

they were reconed just before i bought them from warren i used them for 1 event after they were reconed and for daily use for about 2 weeks, then sold them.

they are honestly well worth the buy, anyone wanting to get into SPL with a great set of subs that can handle 2x Z1's running at .5ohm daily and cranked, then these are the subs for you
wazzab4
I bought them new off mark he was the importer back then.
good sub.

I still got one of the monuting rings brand new i never used them.
billy had the other one.
SSS_Hoon
i know its so tempting believe me.

If it werent for the missus i would have them already LoL.

im still working on her don't worry.

RAD82
was about $45 for the pair from Wollongong to Melb, so not far off that. Have'nt seen a recent pricelist, new price is somewhere around the $600 mark? Correct me if i'm wrong.
TripleXTX3

Would'nt mind one if i had the $ for it.

Why do you ask?
hsvmonarogen3
cause i have one that i want to get rid of. wink.gif
RAD82
Yes, i saw. But i'm afraid i cant afford the difference between our asking prices.
hsvmonarogen3
thats kool. also i like the excel! nice n loud.
RAD82
Bumpity...
TripleXTX3
how much postage to perth????
RAD82
Looks like $53 per sub on Auspots calculator.
TripleXTX3
bugger.... a bit more than i hoped!!!! we'll see if i can sort something out....

what are the specs of the box u were running em in????
RAD82
2.9 cubes @ 42hz, 6" port was a high daily/burp box in the bmw. 2.9 @ 31hz is what i used in the excel, too low for these subs.
RAD82
Bumpage. And since people asked and were confused, its $400 for the pair.
