well i got my new z6 tweeters today
and... to cut a long story short, one of them is dented!!

I know these are a b1tch to fix, and infact I had no luck even fixing the last one I owned

so i have 2 new tweeters, 1 dented the other perfect
my old tweeters, one is dead lol and the other one is perfect...

question is... will i notice a difference if i use the new good tweeter and the old good tweeter?
or will i be better using the new tweeters? with the dent in it

Can you just do a test run in your car play a track normally and then swap the tweeters left and right and play the same music? Might be a good reference point...

yeah I will have to give a go, only thing is, all my amps and everything is out of the car

the issues is, the dent isnt exactly small, in size comparison to the tweeter..
i did email boston too, to them about this, im hoping they will send me another, as i found out they sent it to me in a bubble wrapped packaging!!!

Because boston will not send outside the u.s
I got them to send to a family friend, then to me!

hopefully they will send me a direct replacement...

Ouch.. That's a bi4tch... Boston used to send them in a white hard foam pack, which made it impossible to harm the tweeter... Guess they are getting slack, or they have used a tweeter from a set... Maybe since the new series has come out, they are just using thier old surplus stock?

yeah I have no idea, but it tooks ages for me to get them, and its just a waste a money now for me.

They came in a soft foam white wrapper..
I was shocked when I saw that, asi Know they can get damaged easily

they are going to send me one as a replacement for free!
