Gday

Currently in my system I have Type R Components at the front, Type R Coaxials in the back. All running off the PDX 400, connected to the 9885.

I have a single Type R sub (12", 500 RMS), in a sealed box, running off a 450w clarion amp at 4ohms i believe. (pretty sure its not wired to 2 ohms).

This was all installed professionally.

However I am looking for more bass. Currently it is enough to vibrate and rattle my body a bit, but I can usually handle (with a bit of pain) whatever it throws at me. Hence why I am considering adding another matching sub, though this will mean I will of course have to upgrade to a PDX 1000 amp (the only choice considering my amps are stored under my boot floor, it's a wagon by the way). How much difference can I expect from this? Would a 1000w DD Sub be a good substitute for two type R's?

My main concern is just where can i purchase a ported, twin sub box, that will probably take up my whole boot? I have a mid-size SUV, space isnt really a concern. I live in Brisbane with little to no building skills.

Cheers
