Hey guys i just sold my car and am going to get a magna.. probably a 96/97.
So im looking to put a budget sound system in seing as im a student so as cheap as possible lol
I already have a Alpine type S sub that ive had for about 3 yrs and i dont mind second hand gear.
So im looking for splits, 4 channel amp and head unit this is what i think so far:
Splits: jaycar precision response (special $119)
Deck: unsure probably a cheap second hand for around $50-100
Amp: unsure... last time i checked a audison SRx4 was the go.. how much do these go for?
Im open to any suggestions but want to keep to as cheap as possible!
And one last question, whats the difference between these two jaycar speakers?

im looking at a JBL gto75.4 amplifier.
is this any good to run the splits and sub?
also im picking it up second hand. wat tests can i do to see if the amps 100% working before i buy it.

Regarding the splits, I picked up some sweet Clarion 6" splits for $200 from Autobarn - although they were on special at the time. They sound pretty sweet and give me some good bass straight off a cheap Kenwood HU and no sound deadening lol I think the model is SRS1686 or something around that
