RMA
Delivering a truely consistent high grade product to the market has always been a goal of the Hertz brand.

As part of this commitment Hertz have now implimented the KLIPPEL analysis system for all Mille series speakers.

The Klippel Quality Control System is the most advanced state-of-the-art measurement instrument available for production line quality control. The heart of the system is the advanced analysis algorithm "MetaHearing" which actually listens to the loudspeaker while it undergoes a test procedure, with the quality and consistency of an instrument of analysis.
All the measurements obtained by the Klippel QC converge to a system database: a unique ID is created for each MILLE line loudspeaker, making it possible to track the loudspeaker through various production phases and create a history of its manufacturing life.

It's just one more reason why you should consider Hertz for your next speaker upgrade.

Do you have an example of the klippel measurements for one pair of Hertz Mille speakers?
Would be interesting to see.

Agreed. Where are we able to see the results ?
Marc
I'm not sure its something speaker manufacturer's will publish in these early days of adopting Klippel technology.
There are many other speaker manufacturer's (particuarly in the Mobile Electronics industry) also now adopting Klippel.
fury
Don't mean to have a dig but what's the point in anouncing something like that (that allows us to compare products with eachother), if the information gathered from the tests is not published to us?

I'd like to know the Klippel results before I purchase a pair of speakers, and i'd hope that all good speaker manufacturers adopt this practice.

It is a way of ensuring the product remains within a very tight tolerance in manufacture.
We do have a spec sheet, possibly not what your hoping to see though.

Hi Phil,

Would be interesting to see if possible.

Thanks.

IF the company isnt releasing the results, you could safely assume that the results arnt that crash hot, and could even be quite bad. Electromedia is a clever company, and would of clearly released the full results if they were favourable, its just simple marketing.

That is in no ways being critical or negative towards Hertz, if anything, its a compliment. If the speakers are so loved now, imagine what they will be like when they are improved.

you could also "safely" assume that if the Klippel test results weren't that good, there would be no media release stating that they'd been tested. Electromedia are no fools. What would be the point? Then you just have muppets asking for the results...

Marc
Muppets .... where ?

you had to ask, didnt you..

The is always someone who wants to make a silly comment!

If anyone bothered to read what was stated it said that KLIPPEL is a means to ensure that production is maintained at a consistent standard, it is a way to measure each and every speaker at each and every stage of manufacturing so the product delivered to you the consumer is the same every time within VERY strict tolerances.

It means we have consistent product quality, unlike for instance cars where Monday to Wednesday production seems better than Thursday to Friday production.

And giving the silly people something they can understand, it would mean that if we designed the first speaker to sound like crap we could technically speaking ensure every other speaker sounds just as crappy!

But the speakers arn't crap they ARE however highly awarded.
