This is kind of a silly question, but im wanting to know other peoples opinions on this.

Do people think that DVD's sound better in car than CD's?

So say if you had a Music DVD, or DVD-A and was to compare this to the same Artist Audio CD?

This is more aimed at people that have heard 2 channel DTS? and/or 2 channel Dobly digital?

i will eventually find out.. im just curious, as I havent seen many people mention 2 channel DTS or 2 channel DD in a car system yet in comparison to a normal audio CD

bump? anyone?

a good system sounds the same with either.

most of the "advantages" of DVD, etc. are hype to promote a new delivery system.

a DVD player will often have better mechanicals than a CD player due to the finer tolerances required for DVD, but a good CD player will work just as well.

the problem really is that most CD's are produced/recorded badly, and the DVD-A or DTS is not as bad.

also, be careful what you call better - as loudness and dynamic compression are not improvements.
