read there parts in PWB lol they allow anything through now, i got taught to solder by an ex Nasa tech when i was at tafe, and god he was a nazi on perfection

Looks like I do it right then

nothing annoys me more than electricians who insist on bending strnded wires over to terminate - they should be taught properly.

What's the reason behind this? We do it because using a small wire in a big screw terminal without bending makes it easy to not catch the wire when terminating.
