Thanks Fudd, yeah I've never had all this gear in my car at once, so mostly been in storage. Such a waste, The Alpine gear is unmarked & works perfect.

I have in storage 2 x boston 8" Rally ( new, just taken out of box to look at )
4 x Boston Pro 10.4 10 inch subs used in my car for 3 months & packed away.
These are in perfect condition, was thinking to use them in my home theatre but I think I'll just use a pair of Soundtream USA 10" I have.
Fudd
oh rally 8's you say??

let me know if you do plan on selling any of them, not in a position in the next couple weeks to buy but soon i might smile.gif
i have a rally 12 at home, just sold my rally 10.
also had a pro 12.4 too! wicked sub smile.gif

How old are the MB Quart splits and roughly how much would postage to Melbourne be?

Thanks!

The tweeter & crossover were used for approx 2 yr in my car, the midranges were traded and are like new. Postage approx $15 to $20 is my guess, + cod if you want that. I have another member enquiring in private messages.
oldaudiophile
Alpine gear reduced to $1100, that's reduced it $400 from my original price.

hi there.

where abouts in NSW are you?

can you describe the sound of the 6.5" splits? reason why i ask, is now that my dad (audiophile) gave me some decent british made audio equipment, i realised how ugly my pioneer splits sounds.
are they natural and warm? clear? soft? etc?

would you do a special on both the 3" and splits?

the phoenix amp - what did you drive with that? where is it made?

thanks
Fudd
i can help you with some of them questions.

The MB mids are sweeeeet, there efficiant, and have wonderfull middbass. i used the same mids to win about 5 SQ comps.
the tweeters are just as good.

as for the amp, there made in the USA and are very high quality

thanks man.

was looking at alpine type 'e' for $188 today, and also has a listen of kicker KS602 ($269) and also JL audios Tr(i think)($269). and seeing what my options might be. i'm still a bit unsure on what to get.

will wait for OP to answer some more questions, and maybe we can work out a deal...

Thanks!

I live near Gunnedah.

The 6.5 splits? Have listened to the tweeters, very detailed. The midranges I traded. As a set you will find mb quart up with the best. Fudd descibed it best, punchy midbass & a slightly bright metalick tweeter. They suit a broad range of music taste.

"would you do a special on both the 3" and splits?" What do you offer? I have reduced my gear a fair bit already.

The amp I have had in storage until a member bought the other amp. Been in my car now 2 months approx driving 6". Good ol "Made in the USA"

Thanks Fudd for your input, spot on.

Reply to gilly76. I did want to sell the 1" tweeter & 3" midrange together. If you heard these speakers together you would not seperate them. Supreme set with 8".
Will think on your offer, though I think dainese was in first.
