i'm thinking to put 2 set of component and amp into my car. I'm pretty much into SQ. any suggestion? budget will be $3000 to $4000. I actually looking at Focal 165KR2 or 165K2P speaker and Soundstream Tarantula Theme TR500/4 amplifier. Any suggestion on this setup and any suggestion for better setup?

Any reason why you are wanting to put 2 sets of components into your car?
I am assuming one of the sets will be for the front and the other set will be for the rear. In my opinion there is no point spending so much money on the rear speakers as you will want most of your sound focused at the front of the car where you will be listening to it. If you want to put a set of speakers in the rear go for a cheaper set.
You could also just have a set of splits for the front and get a subwoofer for the lower end and either keep the rears stock or as i said earlier get a cheaper set of speakers for the rear.

i want it loud and i dun want some cheaper speaker to mess up the quality of it. A sub will be later if i'm not very satisfied with 2 set of component

Another option if you want to go with Focal that may be cheaper is to get a set of 165K3P for the front which retail for $1399 compared to 2 sets of $899 splits. This will allow for greater midbass at the front of your car as well as providing loudness.
A good set of splits for the rear may not improve the sound of the system as it can detract from the front stage of your car. More focus should be put on the front stage as this is where the majority of the sound should be coming from and where you will be listening. The rears speakers should be used to provide a more of a background sound but i guess that it is up to you.
If you use the 165K3P for the front stage it will still leave $399 for the rear speakers which is more than enough for the rear speakers.

2 sets of splits in the front can be good, but requires a lot of work, testing and tuning, and if it is done wrong it will be louder but sound disgusting. A single set of high quality splits (or 3 ways if you were inclined to spend more) will generally be better (and a lot easier to install then 2x component sets), go as loud and sound better.
Is the $3-4k just for the fronts and amplifier? Or is that for headunit, amps, speakers, sub? For low end punch you can't beat a sub, an 8" 4" 1" 3 way system will go lower, but still not as good as a dedicated subwoofer setup properly.
For $4k I'd put $1-1.5k away for installation (pro job - deadening etc etc) and spend $2.5-3k on gear. I'll assume this is just for fronts + amplifier.
I'd look at
4 channel amplifier
~ $800: Audiosystem F4-600, Alpine MRV-545; Eclipse XA4000; Rockford T400-4
~ $1000: Audiosystem F4-600, Audison LRx4.5, Audison LRx4.1k, Boston GT40, DD S4, Alpine PDX4150, Treo SSX AMP 75.4, MB Quart PAB4100, Rockford T600-4.
Fronts
2 way
~$800: Focal 165K2P, Hertz MLK165, DLS UP6; MB Quart PVF216
~$1k+: Boston Acoustics Z5/Z6/Pro60; Dynaudio System 222/242; Morel Supremo 6;OZ Audio OZ180CS; Polk SR6500; DLS UR6i/Iridium6.2i/Nobelium
3 way
Focal 165K3P
Dynaudio system 342 (3 ways)
Morel Elate 6 (3 way)
DLS UR36S (three way set)
There are more brands out there, but this is just a rough range to look and listen.

from what you guys suggest, i made my mind to just put a set of componet split and leave the back. From Louie, u suggest a lot of different type of speaker and amp. Which 1 will be the best? i'm only thinking to put a woofer later on. now is just for the front speaker and an amplifier. I already hav a head unit, which is a very old pioneer player, DEH7550. is still working fine, so nt thinking to change it.

For speakers, there is no 'best' as such, only what is 'best' to you, so head out to your local specialist stores and have a listen, potentially have a look when the next MEASQ comp is on to get a wider listening range as well.
Amps, there really are no standouts there really, all the brands offer great amps, so I guess it depends on price/availability/size/install constraints for which you would choose.

If you have the money,
the best K series setup is as follows.
1 x 100KP Splits, (4" midrange and TN52 tweet)
2 x KBE Bass Extensions (6.5" K3P Midbass Specific drivers)
this way you have 4 Midbass drivers, and the K3P is designed to happily play
all day long with a 60hz 12db crossover point at full tilt.. (unlike most 6.5" mids on the market)
and you have a very nice clear and precise midrange driver, thats very narrow and easy to mount almost anywhere.
however, at retail $650 a pair for the KBE's and $599 for the 100Kp's..
thats um.. $1900 :-P BUT.. if you shop properly, you should be able to get around $300 off that total if you get serious with your local dealer.
And it's 100% better sounding than the K3P 3 way setup if done properly.
(IMO, the KBE/k3p driver is extremely good, and for most installs 1 pair is more than enough)
Keep in mind the new 165KRX3 is due around sept/oct with all new 3" midrange and Kevlar TN53K Tweeter.. and a new Specific midbass driver.. expected price around $1500-1800.
