hey guys
thought i would just show that installing a full system into a ba falcon ute is possible. i have now got 3 Rockford fosgate P3 sub's (not shallow) a t10001bd amp under the seat and a p4004 under the other, with rockford power series splits front and power series rear. i'm also running a rockford digital cap 1Frd with 1/0 gauge power wire.

You might want to be careful with the clearance of that middle sub from the centre console. During excursion, it will touch (rub and wear).

yeah thanks, made sure of that during the build process of the box there's about 2 1/2 - 3 inches of clearance from the center console

Thanks buddy. yeah you can run it of the built in dash unit there's a converter that you can buy for it not sure bout the price of it i think its around the 200 mark. i decided to install the head unit so i can gain better control of the cross-overs and equilizers plus I-pod control. be careful when choosing amps as there in not a great deal of space under the seats, my power series amp just scraped in by 3 mm.

did you make that cd player surround yourself?
I too am looking at a BA ute for work and the idea of that having a decent cd player puts me off a little, so im liking the looks of that surround!
Awesome work mate

subs look good..
pity those rear speakers are firing straight at the sub boxes.. i'd ditch them... doubt you'd hear them anyway with that amount of bass in your backside...

yeah i got the cd player surround made up by stylyn car audio. took a little bit of work chafing the edges and routing the right depth of the rebate so the unit would sit flush. all up it only cost me about $150 and it was also sent away to get pro sprayed so the colour matched in perfect.

thanks damo, yeah is a pitty that they face straight at the box, i've got them turned down atm so i can concentrate more power to the front splits. i'm currently in the middle of modifying the front door trims so i can fit 2 pair's of rockford fosgate power series splits to compensate for the enormous amount of bass.
