Hi guys,

I have a 2008 VE Commodore (pics are in the link in my signature) and I am wanting to put in some kind of media player or pc.

Basically, I can't change the factory head unit, so this needs to stay. All I really want is some kind of 200-400Gb hard drive that I can use as an AUX source to just play MP3s.

Anyone got any ideas or suggestions on this??

Thanks,

Andrew

the mediagate media players would be the easiest and cheapest way to achieve what you want.
i think there are smaller ones that take 2.5inch laptop hard drives, but cant think of any at the moment.

cheap, easy, and effictive

just plug into the stereo outputs and away you go... i think.

Thanks Jason.

I took a look at the website and the media players on there. A few to chose from so I'm not too sure which would be the best way to go. Sent them an email to see if they have any suggestions or past experience...See how I go.

Thanks for that Kirk smile.gif Good find!

I'm getting a bit closer to working out what I need for this carPC...the challenge will be putting in a touch screen overlay over the factory display in the dash...
