I'm looking at power cells i.e. batteries, for my system, currentlly it has a 200Amp alt, 10 Farad cap and standard cranking battery. This is for powers an RF T4000.1bd and a T800.4
Kinetiks, Optima, Odessey....
What's peoples choice?

I use Absorbed Power Batteries. I have four GT150s and one GT90 up front. They are great AGM batteries and far cheaper than Odyssey plus come in a far bigger variety of sizes. We actually ran a Rockford T40001bd off two 150s and it loved it. Solid power for ages and with your 200A alt you should have plenty of juice on tap.

The Absorbed Power batteries do look pretty temting. But i am kind of swinging towards a high-output battery, not a purely deep cycle. The Kinetiks kinda fall into this criteria.
Looking at comparing the GT-100 with a Kinetik HC-2000, i get more CCA and Ahr, aswell as smaller dimesions, weight and price.
Does anyone have any experience with he kinetiks???

Read around US forums, alot of people hate them
The batts to have are powermaster xs power etc
I would take A/h over CCA anyday, the gt-100 is about %110 CCA of a yellowtop with nearly double the capacity.
Winner?

You need to realise an AGM is a AGM.
Powermaster = kenetik = absorbed (keep it basic for now)
As far as im aware their not available here.
The best batts in aus are the absorbed range (Or sorins 2150!)
