hi there guys smile.gif

hate to do the whole 'what sub is best' thread for the 543,585th time however i need a bit of direction with what sub to run off my audison SRx1 which puts out around 350wrms at 2ohm

was looking at a 12w6 due to the great feedback and reviews, however upon further research it looks like i will be underpowering it and therefore probably isnt the best choice on a 'bang for buck' basis. although i could be wrong - is this sub able to run nicely off conservative power levels like i plan to use?

after some ideas on what people recommend for this power range, at around the $400-500max mark either new or second hand.

others i am already considering is the 12w3v3 (300wrms) and an alpine type R, although the alpine is just an idea as im not that keen on them and have heard that there more of an output sub rather than musical

thanks in advance smile.gif

the w3 is a veyr good sub, but i'd probably look to a image dynamics idq12v3
there's also boston acoustics and focal to consider

dont concern ya self about wrms on subs and whether u are under powering it, go the best sub u can get even if the specs say it will be way underpowered., these suckers really are awesome

i think u can get em for under$600, but im not sure if that price was RRP

hmmm , i just noticed it has 3ohm DVC , disregard this post dan unsure.gif
