Apologies for crappy quality.

VIA Epia M10000N series motherboard, 1ghz processor pretty much with onboard everything (sound, video etc) which i picked up for a fairly decent price I think.

Currently have:
Motherboard
2x 256mb DDR Ram
Various IDE Harddrives, but on the hunt for 2.5" laptop ones.

Looking to install it into my impreza, hopefully pick up a decent touchscreen, more than likely get a liliput EBY-701 7" or something along those lines once i get tax back! Planning on getting it to run GPS, Music, Videos at this point in time.

Still deciding as to what to do for powersupply wise. Not too keen on ordering from overseas atm and if there are no local Australian suppliers (not sure on this?) then i may end up just getting an inverter and go down that route.

Cheers
Michael

very good package, it sounds like you are doing the exact same package as what was in my impreza (WRX) smile.gif

In NSW, but better than overseas, and not too bad on prices.

Awesome thanks for that Alex.

Probably end up getting the m2-atx one of the lilliput monitors off there in one hit in the coming months. More than likely end up fabricating the touchscreen into the facia where the headunit currently sits (take up both din slots) and possibly relocate HU to glovebox.

Yeah broadz was just browsing your buildup thread, very nice indeed.. I've only got the GX though, 99 model.
Just interested if you intigrated the screen into your dash and if so where do you end up putting it? Seeing as though i doubt i'll still have this car this time next year, even though the above option seems the best way to go I dont really want to start hacking crap up too much for when i return it to stock when i sell haha.

Thanks again guys

Nice motherboard mate. I have the same one below, im still building my system up its my 3rd one in the car and ive had a xbox also lol. You can see the size of it by the pliers next to it. Just gotta decide on a dc dc psu and wait on my 3.5 inch to 2.5 inch hd adaptor and i should be done for now.

There not the fastest thing in the world but it will play mp3, most movies and do gps also.

the M4-atx is out and looks promising for a car-pc power supply
