YaY to all that turned up today at the No Limit CAASQ event.

It was a very good turn out, good to see more cars show up this time...

Although the weather wasn't the best we all (from what I could tell) enjoyed ourselves...

A big :thumb:'s up to the guy that still attended even after damaging his car on the way to the event!!!

Congrats to all the winners today!!!

Next one should have some more people syked I hope...

BIG YELL OUT TO WHO EVER IS LISTENING, we need more judges if there are going to be more cars... Not that I'm complaining, but I think it could go much quicker with more judges... Great job today guys as always smile.gif

So far the FHRX Studios TEAM has more turning up to the events. Good to see, but fresh new competition has to come from somewhere ...

WHERE is it? :lol:competition that is smile.gif

How many trophy's is it now Marty? Or have you stopped counting biggrin.gif

Again, CONGRATS to all that placed and to those that gave it one hell of a go!!! :thumb: Best of luck next time round...

Word up! biggrin.gif

Awesome day I gotta say.
A MUCH bigger turnout and I'm really happy with the level of competition... except Pro Street laugh.gif

Good to see all the cars from the first comp return with new things, and a lot of new faces!

Shout out to all the people who said hello on the day, it was a lot of fun. Huge thanks to Eclipse for supporting the event, No Limit and Louis for running it for us, and of course, Chris Marty and Ben for being such constructive judges.

Can't wait till Penrith Autobahn biggrin.gif

yep this was my first comp, i turned up late and competed in Amateur show.
Got 2nd place behind Middleman, by 5 points. Go the Rex! Wish i was prepared for it, i would have made a photo portfolio and brought my remote and fire extinguisher! lancer sounding pretty good, still just set on flat, cant wait to finish it!

Hey you got the points for an extinguisher, thanks to someone....

bloody winging evropeans biggrin.gif
Mr_Bob
it was a good event.
Turnout was higher than anticipated, given that nobody announced they'd be attending prior to the event.
17 cars in total, if we reach 20, we'll have to start looking for ways to judge 2 cars simultaneously, and we already have plans for how to orchestrate this.

Big thanks to everyone who turned up, especially Louis and the No-Limit crew. There were a number of No-Limit cars on the day.
I noticed Medion brought 2 LCCA cars too, those guys performed quite well given it was their first comp.

Where was Henry and Artkran? I won Pro Street by default, as i was the only competitor!
Would have liked to have a competitor as i'd spent all of the previous day installing my gear. Although i wouldn't have been competitve as the car was untuned and had only 1.5hours of run-in!

I'd also like to thank Stazed as our official photographer!

Results will be posted ASAP
Marc
Sounds fantastic guys! Well done to all competitors and especially to Ben, Chris and Marty for making it happen, with the support of Eclipse and No Limit. Fair to say Eclipse CAASQ is working quite well in NSW now smile.gif

Looking forward to pics (and results tongue.gif) smile.gif

Congrats guys.

A big thanks to the judges and Eclipse, and the guys at No Limit Sound.

Good to hear the feedback from the new judges, and I can't wait until the next comp!!!

When is the Autobarn Penrith comp that was mentioned earlier in this thread?

Yeah is was a good day! it was my first comp to so now i know what i have to do to the system to improve it. but ill think ill leave it untill i repair my car! damn rain!! BUT ill be back not only with a adjusted system but also a fresh re-spray!! thanks to everyone who was involved in the organisation of dis event! look forward to next!! A great day for sure despite weather issues smile.gif

Big thanks to the Guys at No Limit. Went down to scout the place out a few days before, and seemed like a great bunch of guys.

Big thanks to the judges for their time, expertise, and their great advice.

Being my first comp I was a little unsure of what to expect. Was surprised by the quality of some of the cars in Ameteur Street, being as it is the most basic class and all.

Oh and of course thanks to Marty, George and the FHRX crew for the work they did on my installation. Wouldn't sound anywhere near as good without their knowledge and quality recommendations.

At the end of the day. Hardest part for me (being my first time) was knowing what type of sound to go after with my system tune, and at the end of the day this proved to be my weak point.

Hopefully I'll have some nice modifications and additions made to the thing next time round.

Cheers to all who attented, and congratulations on all the winners on the day!

To those who didnt place at the tops (me included smile.gif ), thanks for entering and supporting he competition to make things more interesting for everyone else!

I'd say "damn tyres" actually.... wink.gif

But unfortunate anyway, good to see you still had the courage to show up!

My first SQ Comp too, and now that my tweeters have been moved, a couple of other things done and some knowledge on what else is needed... i should do better next time... wink.gif
Sonic Nirvana
Damn TYRES indeed! smile.gif

Look for a thread in the general SQ comp section on tuning in the next couple of days, mebbe sooner.
You WILL need a copy of the My Disc test CD to take advantage of the info. If you don't have one (and the last one through CAA was sold today apparently) there will be more coming from the States on an asap basis.

The idea will be to try to communicate just what you should be trying to achieve in the context of the actual disc. Stay tuned!
golf_bht
Can I still compete in amature class. I have never had any support from the industry. I alredy sell all of my modified equioments which mean I don't own any internally modified equipment.
Sonic Nirvana
My reading of the rules is that you can.
