I have an existing SQ install in my Wagon, see install thread Diesel`s VZ Wagon Install . I would like to know if i use a drop in box and a separate Amp will the following apply?

1: existing Boston sub and amp if disconnected will count as a 2nd sub still?
2:capacitor if disconnected will still count?
3:existing sub enclosure is above window line, drop in box will be under windowline, what applies?

Superstreet N/W is what i`d be aiming for but as i read it Superstreet 1-2 will apply, the drop in box will house a single 15".

Cheers John.

Yes, it will count as a "token" woofer.

In SS1-2NW and above there is no limit to capacitance wink.gif

You will be bumped, refer to answer one (token woofer is in that enclosure, therefore it counts)

Just take the Boston right out of the car (woofer only), throw some basic tools in there for the comp and it's not an enclosure, just a tool box laugh.gif
