I have found a viper 790xv just lying around...
I think its about 5 years old but it is brand new in that it has never been used.
Has anyone had any expreience with that model. Any opinions?
I need to install an alarm, so i am wondering if i should go with this one or get a newer model....

The Vipers are a very capable alarm. Especially with the back up support from Directed Australia. I would definately be using it.

The only difference between the 790XV and it's current equivalent 791XV is merely cosmetic, with a newer remote.
