Hi wondering if anyone can help, im installing a el-cheapo jaycar alarm to my holden commodore and all is good except the central locking! now i cant work out which wires from the car i have to cut into because the book says its all controlled by the body control unit and has a diagram of locking and unlocking via pulse to two wires, one 12v active and the other a negative now whenn i put the wires off the alarm onto it chirps but nothing happens with the central locking
any help would be greatly accepted

also it only has one button on the remote to unlock and lock so if that means anything ??

From memory brown/red and brown/yellow are the central locking trigger wires for the factory central.

You'll need to pulse them with a negative signal to get the central locking to work. If you don't know what this means please take it to someone who does because you can damage the switch in the door (or set your car on fire) if you wire it up incorrectly.

hey cheers, are u sure its for holden VR? bcoz theres two wires, brown with orange, and brown with red now ive wired them up, and it will lock the car but not unlock. any suggestions??

You need a neg lock and unlock pulse from the alarm brain. Yes the brown/red and brown/ORANGE (correct colour) will be able to be found at the BCM.

The unlock pulse from the alarm (white/black) is to the brown with orange and
The lock pulse from the alarm (white) is to the Brown with Red
