I have searched but it would not give me any results. I think the words are to short for the search engine.
Just a quick answer will do.
I have a 2150 battery and a 15 inch sub, wanting to compete in street B. Whats the best car?
Phil?
Devinchy?
Vernon?
Thanks

Pandas are the loudest, but too hard to get here, not worth the money (been there, done that). Plus they are a truly nasty car.
What you need is a CRX. Has to be Aust. delivered (2 seater) and if you can find one (rare as) with no sunroof. Kind of like mine.

Failing that any hatch can do good numbers I've done 150+ in Excels, Echos, Swifts, Mirages, new Colts are great.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v675/gue...ds/PICT0075.jpgthis is the layout:
http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i257/nis...ulsarlayout.jpg of which you have about 8-9 inches from the boot floor to the bottom of window, however under the floor is another 6 or 7 inches of empty cavity where the targa tops are stored when driving topless. add to this another 4 inches of spare tyre well underneath. I think i worked it out to be somewhere in the region of 7 cubic foot behind the back seat, under the window line, street a/b legal
Ive found the targa tops locking mechanism actually keeps the roof stiffer - no flex.

Just about any hatchback, with enough bootspace to fit 3 cubes... I'm quite impressed with my excel... I know Ross (Team Manual Shed) is currently hitting 149's with a simalar setup without any soundeadining....

Thats the one. A few people in NZ prefer using these than Panda's, still fairly small and boxy in shape. If they werent all manual, and hard on parts, i'd have one myself.

But there are certain cars that have advantages, so it makes sense to start with one of those if you have the option.

Correct me if Im worng but... Jap spec 4 seater you are restricted in street classes by the requirement to have the back seat in place. Aus spec 2 seater you have benefit of no back seat and its not classed as a van (commercial vehicle) unlike daihatsu handivan and the like which cannot enter street classes.
