mark... mounted up front is where the fire extinguisher should be...
screw it to the trans tunnel if thats possible, passenger side.. needs to be secure so cant cable tie it to the seat rails (like some tried last year)...
never know your luck mate...
Sierra
Jul 16 2008, 06:47 PM
Best place for a fire extinguisher on our cars Mark is in front of the drivers seat screwed into the angled part of the floor as where the front seat mounts bolt into.
No excuses Damo .... tell Tess she is entering "HER" VS

You don't HAVE to have one of those switches you can use other means so long as you can quickly disconnect. They are available at marine/boating stores, mine was about $25-35 (something like that).

Jul 21 2008, 08:17 PM
haha, if by flat out you mean, talking to me for an hour, then yes he was, lol...
i took the other one back, he tested it and it was playing up, so he gave me a brand new one this time, not one that had been repaired after a warranty claim or what ever..
so theres nothing stoppin me trying to hit the 140db im hopping for, hehe..
what do you guys think ill hit, considering this, i hit 132.7 at jb hi fi about 3 yrs ago with 1, 12inch sub and a 200rms audioline amp. a pioneer base model sub in pre fab sealed box,
now i have the car deadened all over, got 2 w3v3 jl audio 12inch subs in sealed 35ltr boxes and 500rms each sub, id love to hit 140+ but im not too confident, in a charade btw.. cant wait to find out though,
hope the rain holds out for thursday night guys....

timmeh, what if i bring my focus with stock stereo and beat u too?
Timm3h
Jul 22 2008, 08:02 AM
Then I'll bloody burn your car to the ground as well ~spyne~

typing is not writing! I've already signed a contract (its at Damo's if anyone wants to see it).
It says that an Audioline amp will never enter my car again in a working capacity

Hey .... what's wrong with Audioline amps?
Timm3h
Jul 22 2008, 10:02 AM
Nothing Alan, I loved the ones I had

But realistically speaking, they dont have a chance against what other people are competing with. Theres nothing inherently wrong with a Barina, but it wont win @ Bathurst
Matt VIP
Jul 22 2008, 10:13 AM
ummm...sorry to p!ss on your parade, but as a Barina driver in a previous life, there is plenty plenty wrong with Barinas.
Similar to Audioline amps to be fair
Timm3h
Jul 22 2008, 10:16 AM
STFU! LOL. You get my point though. For their intended purpose, they're ok. But not for competing
