Something I thought you guys might be interested in. This guy is on MP3car.com and has come up with a way to get information from a cheap Ebay reverse sensor kit to display on his carputer along with image from his reverse camera.
He has also done the same with a cheap Tyre pressure monitor system as well - giving an audible (and visual) alert if any of the tyres need the drivers attention.

Cheers - very nice find - this is exactly what I want to do - not the tire pressure but the camera WITH the sensors is sweet!

Tyre pressure monitoring is a bit wanky (though as a keen 4wder I can see the benefits) - when my tyres do anything strange I can feel it through the wheel with heaps of time.
The reverse beeper with camera and actual readout is VERY cool and VERY handy.

i also saw this around a while ago also
was thinking about it for other applications on the car

It's very good wank factor... nothing beats having a 15" LCD in your dash.
I'd rather have those things displayed separately, less chance for faults.
