hey ya'll,

just wondering if theres anyone one here who knows how to build/knows anyone who can build a sub box for a vs ute. ive been told that it will be ported box with a 4 inch port into the cabin from the fuel tank compartment in the back. ive got an alpine 1x600 pdx amp to run a 10 inch sub but not sure which sub to buy yet? if anyone can help me out with instructions of reccomendations of a top notch installer and some sub ideas that'd be great.

Thats not what he's after, and its pretty expensive IMO to boot.

Do a search on here, there should be plenty of ute threads with the type of enclosure you are talking about but unfortunately I drive an Echo "coupe" so can't help any more than that.

we've done searches and found a few diffrent things but nothing that suits what we are trying to do.. this guy is my cousin btw...i havent obviously had a chance to check every topic and response but from the searches ive done, i can only find ones in the cab or out in the tray and ported thru the rear firewall, etc.

what his are after is some one who has done a vs tank box before to give us the demensions, or if possible link us to some installs for ideas, it must go in the tank area tho, as his a tall/big bloke and dosent want to lose anymore cabin space...aswell as hes got some ideas for the console area and an amp rack between the seats on the fire wall..

also, are subs mounted in the centre of ute seats going to effect sound qaulity and ouput...and how would a sub thats mounted on 45% angle in the middle and about as high as your elbow sound, would it look ok but sound crap...any help and feed back on ute installs would be great...

cheers fellas...
