The second round of the Eclipse Car Audio Australia Sound Quality (CAASQ) NSW competition kicked off last Sunday and the event was another success. Not only did many people attend the event and enjoy a great day amongst fellow audio nuts but also the competition was tremendous and some terrific scores were produced. We're happy to report that numerous Fhrx Studios built cars performed very quite well too picking up five awards in total.

Marty Price from Fhrx Studios was one of the judges on the day and commented about the competition: "Long gone are the days of lousy sounding cars. Competition vehicles (even at amateur level) these days sound fantastic and getting better by the day. Competitors are very knowlegdeable regarding car audio and know all about good clean sound. The downside is that that for far too long many people have been under the impression that you need a six figure system to compete. Not true. I encourage everyone to come along and at least see what the car audio competition scene is all about." The competition is heating up and will be very close come the 2005 finale! We cannot wait.
