Hi All,
I posted this in the Gen section and haven't had a responce so I thought I would drop it in here as well
It's almost time for me to update my work car, and as such looking to update from my D22 ST-R Navara to the New D40 ST-X Navara.
I'm interested to know if anyone has done a fit out on the D40 ST-X Navara Duel cab??? If so what was the fit out like to do, what head unit and speakers, also was a sub fitted. I'd also like to know speaker size and door cavity room front and rear (Duel Cab) Refitting the head unit, (I think it's 2x din??)
I have only had a brief look at the room inside, but I'm sure there is enough room to make a new sub box (floor mount under rear seats) and amp rack behind the rear seat.
Any other information, thought or input would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Daniel

Ive done a few of these, off memory 6" fit in the front and 6" fit in the rear there is no stock speakers in the rear, the most common spot to place the speakers in the back is to take off the grill in the back door and make a new panel there but i would reccomend placing the speaker further forward as the seat muffles anything there and it doesnt sound any good..there is stock speaker wire in the door but ends at a plug just inside the car behind the b pillar so you will have to run speaker wire from there to wherever you want.. as for subs we did one where we built this tiny box to fit a slim 12" sub under the back seat but it didnt sound any good so itll just be a case of probably waiting till you get the car and having a look..
hope this helps
