Craig from Autobarn Capalaba is keen to take their SS1-2 car again.

For logistical reasons we can't bring the Extreme car from SA.

Not to sure if i'll be making the trip now as ther was a small incident with the car yesterday and due to some debris on the road and the car being so low one of my rear quarters now requires some stitching back together, panel beating and paint so depends on when i get the car back. . .

What's the go with the finals? Do you need an invite, or can you just turn up?

DD Phil told us that he is lending gear to people to win classes. Doesn't seem fair to go all that way to compete against people that have loan gear.

Firstly at DD don't need to loan anyone anything.

I can't believe the hypocrisy, especially given that George loaned you the Atomic 12 and Atomic 5000 to set "your" Street A record.

All of Australia's top competitors choose DD because it's number one. Six years in a row as the World's loudest is an incredible feat.

Look at Australia's top competitors, they all chose and purchased their DD gear.

For example:

Tara - Street A, 150dB, two 9510 and Z1a
Aaron - Extreme 2, 167.7, two 9918 and Z1a (Australia's loudest ever car)
Autobarn Capalaba, SS1-2, 162.3, two 9918 and Z1a
Samuel McWaters, Street Max, 9918s
Joel Eaton, SS 5+, six 9515
Billy, SS3-4, DD9515 and Z2

There is no doubt DD is bloody good and very loud.

However.. Justen has never used DD and is doing bloody well.

PURCHASED.. 4x Kicker L7 15" and Epsilon amp - Street Max Australian Record 151.1
Dropped to 3x Kicker L7 15" and an SPL Dynamics amp - raised the St Max record to 153.3

only time he hasnt purchased gear was the 7 OA amps and subs for the Austen as it was a sponsored car.

Why are those who dont get special treatment have a sook and Phil maybe you should look at what they are having a sook about you get gear loan it to others then sell it as new ..... and dont lie as say you dont ..... i know of at least 4 instances that this has happened ............. but hey your the salf confessed SPL KING

I really don't understand how some people feel and use DD Phil as a punching bag and vent their anger at someone who is willing to give people a hand, break, good deals and stick his neck out when very few in the industry will, (and yes there are still a few good people and products out there). Sure Phil doesn't give DD gear to everyone for nothing and he may pick and choose but that is his perogative and his decision. What people need to do is save their money up to purchase the above said items and discuss these purchases with Phil to come to an arrangement that suits both parties AND NOT use these forums as a bash DD Phil and or DD Products. To be quite honest move forward or move on before this topic does get closed down only due to a few individuals who wish to go off topic.

that street max record will be beat soon enough. my old suzuki that was hitting 159.6 (Street Max 3-4) just before i sold it hasnt come out yet and i say Justen better aim for over 158's to keep that street max record. the suzuki has already hit 157+. using DD woofers of course.
and i also hear there is another street max car thats doing 157's that hasnt competed yet also.

and how is that a problem ALI bought my old car he uses DD subs. i want him to break that current street max record, but with the dorans event being so close to wagga i wasnt going to risk my woofers so close to the event. Anyway i think that all the DD(phil) bashing is not needed.

Put it this way Phill could choose to not do what he does, in regards to loaning gear and repairing and what not, and i bet if he stopped doing that and started to charge for it what the RRP is on the gear then im sure there would be more ppl whinging about that also, so it seems that he cannot win. And if he decided to shut up shop completly and you all had to get your DD gear from OS then where would you all be.

plus on the topic of him selling second hand gear and charging new for it. i like to know who his supposedly done that to. certainly not myself and the DD users that i know have never had this happen to them. so i would seriously like to know who you think its happen to Sir Diligaf

i bought my first DD products my Z1's used and never paid for them as new.
my 9515's i bought used and never paid for them as new. and even two of them phil replaced them with 2 brand new ones after Joel in WA sent them to me, as one was the wrong coils and another Joel had cooked the coils on. and phil did this at no cost.

and when i inverted 2 of my subs phil even got there and reconed them for me and had them back to me as quick as possible.

not to forget also my Z2-HV's i bought brand new off phil and what do ya know they rocked up to my house, all sealed in their boxes un touched sealed and the amps boxes definately had not been opened. brand spanking new first person to touch them out of the box.

also i know phil has let people pay gear off, even giving them the items before they have been fully paid for. no contract to sign or anything. how many people or shops or businesses would do this ? NONE AT ALL
phil does this to help people get into the sport, and also because his a nice guy in the end, i dont know of anyone else that sells audio gear that will ever do the same.

well said above though if phil and carl shut up shop and stopped doing what they do, what would everyone do then.

I will admitt i have had arguements with phil all because i have stressed over nothing and got myself worked up, but never once have i ever had any problems with phil in regards to my equipment and him supplying or repairing it,
and thats why i will always continue to use DD's products

the only E-Audio 1000D's to come to australia LEO owned and he sold 2 amps to him and sent them to SIR DILIGAF's work in Newcastle. so it wont be hard to find out who he is. if he goes to a comp and the car is scrutineered for the comp, bang we will know who he is straight away.
