do you know where i can get a solder-able F type male connectors (the shield can be crimped like rg59 or rg58 since i have the crimper for this application).
just been to jaycar and they dont have anything like this, they are all designed for cables with solid cores. The RG59 mini male connectors at jaycar that have an inside pin but they do not fit the outside screwable thread.
i might require specialised connector manufacturer/distributor.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I modified an old Kenwood amp once to BCN connector and I used BCN connectors on the RCA leads. Worked really well, never pulled out either.

Not sure what you mean by solderable as the F-Type connector uses the centre condutor as the pin, what are you trying to connect to?
The normal F-Type connectors are readily available from any electrical wholesaler.

I don't think the F-type specification has a provision for stranded cable. I used to use heaps of these things where I used to work, and I've never seen what you want at all.
Can you use BNC instead? They are a better connection than F-type, and more robust too. They are able to be used with solid or stranded cable.

however the FREE arials had their ends chopped off. Unfortunately the cable is not the F-type standard since its a very very very thin coaxial design with a stranded internal cable.
options so far
adpator to normal 75ohm antenna wire
or chop up a normal f type cable and solder the old cable to it
would rather use one connector a F-type directly but i can not find one of these with a separate internal pin.
