Hey All

I have recently completed the install on my car. Now everything sounds great, however I cant seem to get a rattle out of my doors. I know where the rattle is coming from but I have no idea how to get the dynamat in there. The rattle is coming from the door handle on the outside of the car but the rattle is on the inside if that makes sense. There seems to be a bracket attached to the exterior door handle inside the door that I believe is vibrating at certain frequencies. I know there is a couple of people that have the new Lancer on the forums and Im wondering how people have gotten around the problem. At the moment the rest of the doors are deadened (outer panel, door frame and door trim) and Im hoping if someone has some ideas, I can get rid of this annoying rattle.

BTW: I have looked at the paint on body deadener stuff at Supercheap. Not sure if this would fix the problem, but I dont want the stuff coming through to the outside of the car in summer when the doors get hot.

Yea, had a read of the tutorials. I did my doors slightly different to the way the tutorials described it, in the way that I did not cover the holes in the door frame. Dont really want to cover the holes as I will lose access to the window mechanism if I do that. Not very confident in the reliability of electric windows with my previous car's electric windows problems. I might take some photos over the weekend and post them up

As for the forum thread being in this section, not sure how to move it, but whoever can, feel free to do so.
