hi guys ive just got a few questions about some gear im planing on getting in the near future. what i want is the new 08 kicker L7 8"sub and ether the 400, 500, 750 monoblock amp. what i want it to get a nice little spl setup in the back of my corolla and preferably retain as much boot space as possible. i just need to know what sort of box design i should be looking at ie. freq and port size ect. one of the other things i was looking at was having the amp mounted inside the box and maybe a perspex display window. any help would be grately appreciated.

Thanks
Jake

thanks for replys ok if i ditch the amp in box idea. Just a couple more questions what sort of frequency should i make the port, would i be better running one sub or 2, and if i get the 2ohm version would i be able to run the amp at 1ohm?

Thanks
Jake

If you are thinking of running two subs it would probably be better to get one single larger woofer like a 10 or a 12. If it is a 2 ohm single voice coil sub then it can only be powerd at 2 ohms. If it is a dual 2ohm sub then it can be run at 4 or 1 ohms.
