Hi guys,

I need a bit of help with changing my setup in the car...

I've just got my hands on a 3Sixty.2 and would now like to run my fronts and tweeters active. Currently the fronts and tweeters run off a 4ch amp on ch1 + 2 and I have rear door speakers running off ch 3 + 4.

I want to disconnect the rear door speakers (or maybe down the track just run them off a 2ch amp) and run the fronts off of ch 1 + 2 and the tweeters off ch 3 + 4.

I'm not overly comfortable in doing this by myself, so I was hoping that a/some very nice Melbourne members would be willing to give me a hand...? I'd be more than happy to supply beer and food while we do this smile.gif

Any volunteers???

Thanks!

Andrew

Yes, I will be.

But it's not exactly a small thing to do. Would have to run new speaker wires from the tweeters to the amp in the boot...

he's wired a set of speakers active before, I think.

I have no problem with supplying bourbon either...don't mind a bit of that too. Actually...had far too much of it on Saturday night....yikes!

Well... I have just put in the 3Sixty.2

Or so I thought...

I think I have screwed something up....Not getting any sound through any speakers....and I don't think the amps r turning on...

When I try to find the device via bluetooth, it doesn't appear, so it looks like the 3Sixty.2 isn't even getting any power...

I've checked that it's connected right, but it's too dark to see if any of the fuses are blown...

Fricken hell....grrrrrrr....

Edit: Tried a few different things...managed to work out I haven't shorted any of the fuses...but i did destroy a 3v light bulb in the process...I've had enuf of it tonight....Will go past Tower Audio tomorrow some time hopefully and let them take a quick look to see if they can work it out. Otherwise I'll just put up with the nice growl of the V8 engine smile.gif

Edit: Ok, found out I needed to open the 3sixty.2 up and change one of the jumpers so that the remote connection would work....All good now...just doing the setup and tuning now! smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

Those things sure are fun to play with, hey. We installed one for a customer, then realised we needed a Bluetooth device to tune it which we didn't have available at the time tongue.gif I spent a while looking around for the knobs before I realised there weren't any tongue.gif
