Hi all, after something that will do about 1x300wRMS or so. It's for a mate, just bought a (very) cheap 4ch amp and it appears to be dead. Budget would be $100 tops I guess. I'm sorta tempted to sell him my Clarion APX1300 and upgrade myself but won't just yet. Anyone got something to offer?

i would suggest selling him your clarion and upgrading now, otherwise you will end up with a clarion and no buyer ^^
what brands/models were you looking at?
obviously no no-name brands?

Upgrading was just an idea, I don't really want/need to upgrade but hell if the opportunity arises...

Nothing too flash no. Another APX1300 maybe, Jaycar 2x150, older Jaycar mono etc. He's got an Avalanche 4ch now which just goes into protect mode on startup.

OK, yep, I'm going to sell the Clarion and upgrade myself. Thread can be closed!
