Hey guys Ive already got 1 Treo 12.22 750wrms sub in a 1.75cube ported box at 28hz running off a jaycar precision pro monoblock 1000w amp but its just not doing it for me so I am thinking I might get another smile.gif

Please let me know if you have one available. I bought my 1st one second hand for $400 if you want an indication of how much I think I should be paying for it.

Westy, for a temporary solution to your problem try re building that box, and tune it to around 33-35Hz. you shouldn't loose that much lower end, but you should gain a lot in the upper 40-60Hz region.

Lol god knows I have nothing in the 80-100hz region at the moment as well
SPL_Lancer
The 80-100Hz region is more mid bass than sub bass. Upgrade your front stage wink.gif

Im going to, just waiting on phatt to get some more alpine amps in. Gonna buy the boston SL60's I think.
Westy87
Well got sick of waiting for alpine amps so went and bought some JBL power. GTO504 and GTO 14001. So now need that second sub to go with the power;)

Please anyone if you have one and could possibly see yourself splitting with it...
Gozza

Let me know what your mate says. Is he in Sydney too? Anyhow yeh not sure what I'll do with the jaycar, probably sell it but not yet as the box is still in Port macquarie with the parents.

What is the general allowment on days to wait before bumping?
Louie
Once a day is fine.

Though, I have a single SSi 10", and it is plenty loud in a prefab (I know I know) ported box. It's run off ~1krms on tap, so I'd be a bit worried if it isn't providing enough bass for you? Perhaps a tuning/box/amp issue?

Well, when I'm back home at christmas SPL_Lancer is gonna help me build a box tuned to bout 35hz or so, and I just bought a new monoblock JBL GTO14001 to help with my problem. But you see my problem is that I've been addicted to the feeling of bass pounding through me since I was a wee little kid. Mum even says I used to tap my foot along with a bass beat when I was in a pram! So yes you could say that 1 just isnt enough for me sad.gif Wheres the doctor?
